I cannot believe it has already been twelve weeks with all of you! Where did the time go? I have had so much fun sharing my journey in Mongolia thus far: thank you all so much for your thoughtful and enthusiastic questions and great participation, overall.
To me, traveling and learning about the world around us is one of the most important things a person can do. The better we understand each other, the more happy, peaceful, and loving the world will become. The world might seem like a big place, and in some ways it is, but everywhere I have ever traveled, I am always more struck by the similarities between people than the differences. Even in Mongolia, all the way on the other side of the world, there are so many ways that we are the same. People here just want what is best for their families, they want to take care of one other, and they want to live happy, meaningful lives. Sound familiar?!
If I can leave you with one piece of advice, it would be this: do not be afraid. Do not be afraid to meet new people or to try new things. Do not be afraid to pursue your dreams. And do not be afraid of the world. The world is beautiful, huge, and amazing. I was nervous to come to Mongolia, but I did it anyway and could not be happier with my decision.
