Kids Like You

Most kids here know that they will probably do the same jobs as either their father (the boys) or their mother (the girls). In fact, the kids start helping their parents at their jobs from a very young age, so they make an easy transition into the adult world.

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?:

Most people do not travel too far outside of their towns, because it can be expensive for the family. If you ask kids where they want to travel, though, some say America, and others say France, but most will name a city here in Morocco. Moroccans are very proud of their heritage and their country and want to see it for themselves.

What do you know or think about the United States?:

Almost all the young people I talk to say that the U.S. is beautiful, big and very expensive.

What questions do you have for kids in the United States?:

I think that Moroccan kids would ask these same questions actually. They are at the core not much different than you. However, they might ask who your favorite soccer player is, or if you know anything about their country. And now you know more than ever about their country, right?  Let me know, though, and I can ask them anything you would like.
