Hi, everyone! My name is Meryum, and I am 15 years old. I am from a small town in the Eastern Middle Atlas Mountains. I have two younger siblings, one brother and one sister, who are twins. My Dad is retired, but he used to be in the army here in Morocco, and my mom owns a store with clothes and traditional kaftans that people can rent to wear at weddings. My grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins all live here in the same town, and we visit them a lot. After school, I sometimes go to Emily's English class for extra practice.
For breakfast, I usually eat bread with something on it. I like Nutella, honey, jelly or olive oil on my bread. I also sometimes eat eggs. If I make eggs, I scramble them and eat them with bread. For lunch, I go home from school, and my mom gives me something with meat and vegtables. Tagine, couscous and baked chicken are my favorites. For dinner we usually eat something smaller, like soup or pasta.
