Luca lives in St. Prex, Switzerland. He is 14 years old and is in his second to last year of school. Switzerland is broken up into different cantons, according to which cities are in specific areas. We currently live in the canton Vaud, which includes the town we live in, St. Prex. Depending on where you live, schools and rules are very different - such as class and vacation times.
Overall, students must go to school in Switzerland until the age of 15. Luca is currently learning three languages in school: English, French, and German. Instead of having big breaks like summer and winter break, Luca gets a small two- to three-week break every couple of weeks, along with all major holidays.
Luca loves to drink soda! That is his favorite drink in the world. Normally, for breakfast, he eats something small like a juice and a granola or energy bar. And for lunch and dinner, he comes home to eat with the family. Lunch and dinner range from dishes like spaghetti, rice and meat, Thai food, homemade pizza and meat and salad.
