The three main languages are Flemish, French and German. Although there are many languages spoken in the city, almost everything is written in either French or English with a Flemish translation. Many people speak English as a third or fourth language.
The euro is used here. There is a combination of coins and euro bills. The euro bill ranges from €5 to €500, and the coins are available in €0.50, €1, €2, €5, €10 and €20.
The average price for water in Brussels is about €2.60, which is about $2.86 USD. Some stores will sell water for a lot cheaper at about €1.50, but it depends where you go.
The best meal I ate this week was a crêpe breakfast. Crêpes are like pancakes but a lot thinner. Along with the crêpes, I ate a bowl of fruit, chocolate milk and a glass of orange juice.
My French teacher gave us an assignment to search for French songs that we'd like to present to the class. I chose Je te le donne (I give it to you) by VITAA. Even outside of class, I've been listening to French music because I love it and it helps me improve my French.
