Korean Food

How is the food prepared?:

Many street vendors cook the food right in their carts on the side of the road, with different techniques. Some vendors use large metal pans with a heating source underneath to cook fried desserts. Others use large boiling pots with various soups and sauces. When customers order, they can sit and eat or take it to walk and eat. To make it easier to eat on the go, vendors give them cups or bags with toothpicks, forks, or napkins.

Is this food connected to the local environment? How?:

The different foods available differed according to the location in the city. Near my school, I can find cafes, street vendors, and lunch box shops. This caters towards students who are on the go or taking time to sit down and study. Around the center of the towns, there are more cafes and sit-down restaurants that let people sit down and enjoy long meals.
