South Korea Government Quarantine

Introduction:

The Covid 19 pandemic has changed how travels take place. On top of Covid testing, wearing masks, and travel advisories, most countries have put quarantines into place. South Korea is one of the countries with a mandatory quarantine, which has been modified over time. When I was going to South Korea for my short-term program, I had to stay at the government facilities for ten days. There were many aspects to the quarantine that helped make the ten days go faster and helped make sure that everyone was safe.

What community need did I learn about?:

South Korea has taken the necessary steps to make sure that travelers and residents are safe from Covid 19. The government ensures that people have a place to go through the mandatory quarantine. People are provided with all necessitiesso that they do not need to break quarantine. They are given the tools to track their health and make sure that they are safe from Covid 19.

Why does the community have this need?:

Since the Covid 19 pandemic, traveling has been highly regulated. This is to make sure that residents of countries are safe and travelers are also safe. The travel mandates keep travel happening in a safe way, and the better the mandates, the easier it is for people to continue traveling.
