With less traffic, Busan also has smaller roads, allowing for bigger buildings and houses, one of those being "Shinsegae Centum City", which was named one of the world's largest department stores.
The public transportation here can be challenging. Buses and trains are less frequent and have fewer stops, making travel move restrictive. People have to rely on buses to get to destinations where the subway system does not go, and the buses run infrequently, with some wait times up to an hour in length.
Due to the differences in environment, with the city located along a beach, the social culture in Busan is very different to that in Seoul. The city centers are closer together, and there is less need to travel long distances to get across the city. Most workers are found within the bustling centers packed with businesses, while tourists head to more leisure-focused areas separate from the busy streets, giving a calmer environment.
