My ACCESS Class

Introduction:

ACCESS is an English language program for Mongolian kids who are not typically able to afford English classes. The group has approximately 40 students divided into two groups. The groups meet at least twice a week. One of my favorite things that I've done here in Mongolia is working with these ACCESS students. The students are so sweet, motivated and smart. Let's learn about some of the students that I work with. For each question, I will write the name of the student who answered the question.

What do you eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner?:

For this question, I talked to a student named Khaliunaa. She said that for breakfast she usually eats eggs and drinks lots of water. For lunch, she usually eats a food named piroshki. Piroshki are a common Russian food. They are delicious fried dumplings, usually filled with potatoes. For dinner, she usually eats a Mongolian traditional dish named Tsuivan. Tsuivan is basically just fried noodles with vegetables and red meat.

What is your house like?:

For this question, I talked with a student named Anar-Erdene. Anar-Erdene said that he lives in a house with his family. He has his own room. His bedroom is on the second floor of the house. The house is quite normal. It has all of the normal rooms such as a living room and restrooms.
