I haven't yet been to northern Mozambique because it can be more difficult to travel there, and I don't have any family to stay with.
I work in a copy room at the local high school in Messica. I make copies of tests and assignments for the teachers' students. I enjoy helping teachers create fun activities for students as well. One day I hope to learn English and teach students at the high school.
My second job and passion is filming and photographing events in the community. I saved up all of my money to buy a good camera and watched YouTube videos to learn how to use it. It took a lot of practice, but hard work always pays off!
I would like the students to know that my country, Mozambique, is like the United States in many ways. While our cultures and languages differ, our wants and needs are the same. We love our families and our country. Mozambique, like the U.S., has people living in a wide variety of houses and areas. The continent of Africa is also very different and has many countries. We are curious to learn about you, and we encourage you to learn more about us and other African countries!
