Thankfully, this extremely high tide usually only lasts about two hours before the water starts to go back to regular levels. Since this happens regularly, the locals are prepared with extensive drainage systems and special walkways that are deployed when flooding occurs.
This week the sunset was around 5:00 PM. I better start taking advantage of the sunlight!
