Now, we only have the crumbling remains to appreciate. Near the monastery, there is a pool of water that is very round. It is like a perfect circle! I really enjoyed how the human elements of the landscape, like the monastery and the ruins, were so seamlessly blended in with the natural elements, like the pool, rocks and hills.
I went horseback riding again! Horseback riding at Saraa's Ger Camp is my favorite hobby in Mongolia. From atop a horse, the vast, green hills of the steppe seem even more breakthtaking.
