Summer weather in Amman is generally warm and sunny. This week was no exception with an average of 83 degrees during the day. At night it started to cool down this week to about 58-62 degrees Farenheit, which is the coldest it has been since I arrived in May!
Around the city there are always a lot of stray cats. Cats are the most common animals I see every day and most of them are very friendly. Occassionally, I see a large cockroach or two outside of my house--not my favorite animal!
On the porch of the gym I go to there are many potted plants. One of my favorite ways to relax is to sit on the porch after work, watch the people walk by and clear my head before a difficult workout.
There was a scattered thundershower today. This is the first rain I have seen since arriving to Jordan in May!
