It was outdoors and freezing, but it was worth it once we saw the beautiful sunset and the Eiffel Tower light up and sparkle! It was truly breathtaking.
Since it was my first week in Paris, it only made sense to read a Paris travel guide! I really enjoyed this as it included so many tips of places to eat, shop and explore. Most importantly, it also had a section about French culture that helped me interact with the locals in a respectful manner - politeness goes a long way here!
While I didn't play any sports, I sure did a lot of walking! During my first week, I walked an average of 17,000 steps per day which is about 5 miles a day! You never get tired of walking in Paris since everywhere you look is a sight to behold!
I finalized my class schedule for the semester and I am so excited about all of the amazing classes that I will be taking. I am a little nervous because half of my classes are taught in French, especially since we will have to do oral presentations that last 30 minutes! I am most excited about my Persian calligraphy course and I hope to meet lots for fellow French students!
