It's time to say farewell and make an end to my journey in Wellington, New Zealand! This time studying abroad has been a life changing experience in which I have learned and experienced so much.
On our visit to Roberts Island, which is part of the Shetland Islands, we found a lot of very different animals all living on the same small piece of land. You might be surpirsed by what we saw!
One thing I was very nervous about when kayaking in Antarctica was being knocked out of my kayak by a whale! Luckily, the whales were very friendly and only swam close to greet us as we passed by.
After teaching ended, I was able to live a pretty normal schedule of going to the gym, hanging out with friends and traveling. I learned to embrace Taiwanese life and appreciate those around me.
Au revoir! Goodbye! Even though I didn’t know exactly what it was going to be like living in Switzerland, I learned so much and had so many new experiences. I hope you did (virtually) too!
It's the end of my time with Reach the World, but that doesn't mean the exploration has to stop! I hope you are inspired to keep learning and exploring this big, beautiful world.
