岡山-Okayama, The Land of Hills and Valleys

Okayama is a special place in Japan. It is known as an extremely rural area. Due to its geographical location within Japan, it is not susceptible to many of the powerful weather events within Japan.

As another rich week of learning and experiences comes to a close, I am reminded of how short my remaining time here really is. I will not waste it!

Nunnin' Around

Sister Miyake is a nun here at Notre Dame Seishin. She has been at this school for about 30 years. We sat down and had a very open conversation one morning before school began.
