Every Tuesday, my friends and I have a dinner party where we try cooking new recipes from around the world. This week, we had a potluck-style dinner with a Mediterranean theme, and each of us made a different dip to share. We had tzatziki, baba ghanoush, muhammara, crazy feta, classic hummus, and fresh tabbouleh. We served them all with warm pita bread, carrots and cucumber slices. It was so much fun to try a little bit of everything.
This week, I’ve been listening to Bad Bunny's latest album, Debi Tirar Más Fotos, and Rauw Alejandro's Cosa Nuestra on repeat. Both albums are huge here in Gran Canaria, and I can’t get enough of them!
This weekend, I went to a Carnaval event called Las Murgas, where groups from towns all over the island perform. Each group prepares a 30-minute show, complete with an opening song, a funny song that pokes fun at politics and culture and a closing song.
