The farthest I traveled was the two hours and back from Seoul this week! I will actually be going to Seoul again with my host family this weekend, hopefully exploring Chinatown and other new areas.
I've traveled a lot of Korea so far. Korea has a pretty big population but is relatively small land-wise, so it's really easy to get from one side of the country to the other. To reach the southern part of the peninsula from my location, it takes about five hours. For comparison, it took me about six hours to travel from my hometown to my college in the United States, and they are both in the Midwest!
I mostly walk to and from work, but luckily the commute is only about 20 minutes.
The most interesting place I visited this week was probably Gwanghwamun Palace, a centuries-old Korean palace. It is located in Seoul, very close to the starting line of the race I ran.
