Day in the Life of Ecuadorian Eighth Graders!

Domenica: In the morning, just coffee, for lunch, rice and chicken and a menestra soup (a bean stew), and for dinner I eat a sandwich with coffee.

Emilia: For breakfast I drink coffee and bread, for lunch, I eat rice and chicken, and for dinner, I drink coffee.

What is your house like?:

Juan: My house is white and has two floors. There are four bedrooms in my house.

Tayler: My house has two floors, two doors and windows that are colored like mirrors.

Richard: My house is small and is painted black.

Domenica: My house has three floors and is the color of coffee. It has a little pre-school and is very big and very beautiful.

Emilia: My house is medium-sized with one door, and I live with three people and a dog. 

What chores do you have at home?:

Juan: I make my bed, wash the dishes, wash my clothes and put away my clothes.

Tayler: I organize the house and do my homework. Afterwards, I play Free Fire with my friends.

Richard: I wash the dishes, I make my bed and I wash my clothes in the washer (lavadora).

Domenica: I help my mom wash the dishes, sweep, mop, wash clothes, make my bed and take care of my pets.

Emilia: I clean my dog's area, I play, I wash my dishes, I clean my room and I clean the living room.

What jobs do your parents have?:

Juan: My mom does chores on a livestock farm.
