I had the chance to go to the beach this weekend, and that was definitely one of the best things I did this week. As I have said before, Zambia is a landlocked country, which means we lack access to most bodies of water. Anytime I am able to be in the water is a fun opportunity for me. Senegal is located near the Atlantic ocean and I want to note that the waves in the ocean were super strong. They did take me under a few times, but I am luckily still here to tell you all about it.
I have not read a lot this week, but I am reading a new book. It is called "Long Time Coming" by Michael Eric Dyson. It explores the idea of race in America. It is a really great book that you all could maybe read a little later.
I had the chance to play Uno this week. I have not played since I initially left America to move to Zambia in August. It was a very fun and intense game because everyone was so competitive. I won the first round of the game!
