I kept busy in Tromsø and found I didn’t have much reading time.
I went swimming three times overall: at Tromsøbadet for two days and in the surrounding fjord one morning with a friend. I also went snowshoeing for the first time, which was challenging but rewarding.
Although Tromsø is small and on the quiet side, I’ve appreciated getting to meet people from different cultures from around the world. There is a special connection between those who want to share their customs, learn about the traditions of others and bond over this unique island and pace of life.
