I have traveled a lot in this week. I have been to the North, South, East and West of Seoul. My favorite areas are Sinchon, Kondae and Hongdae. Sinchon, toward the western side of the city, is where Yonsei University is located. A little south of Sinchon is Hongdae, which is short for Hongik University. This place is good for shopping. Finally, on the eastern side of the city is Kondae. Kondae is short Konkuk University. This is another good place for shopping. Over the weekend, I also travelled outside of Seoul. I headed to Suwon which is one hour and thirty minutes south from Sinchon. After going to Suwon, I kept going south by another hour and made it to Cheonan. Once I was done in Cheonan, I went back to Seoul. This trip back took about two hours.
I have done a lot of traveling since the start of this trip. I normally live in Pittsburgh, Pensylvania. My trip started in Pittsburgh International Airport. I flew from there to Chicago, from Chicago to San Francisco and San Francisco to Incheon. In total, my flight to Seoul was almost a full 24 hours long and I travelled 8,329 miles. I have been in Seoul for about five weeks now. Since getting to Seoul, I may have travelled another 2,000 miles or more.
