The weather was sunny most of the week and quite hot. I recall sweating for most of the time I was outside.
Being in the city of Hanoi for most of the week, I didn't see many animals. I did see some squid one night out away from the city, and I saw some bats as well.
On one of my days away from the city, I went to a bay area called Ha Long Bay where I had the chance to kayak along a group of islands with some pretty cool caves.
On the first night that we were out at the bay, I went fishing at night off of the boat we were on. That's where I happened to see the squid. We even caught some!
