My flight from Hong Kong to Hanoi was 873 kilometers, and then while in Vietnam, I traveled another 500 kilometers.
Including the distance I traveled from Missouri to where I am now, I've traveled roughly 16,000 kilometers, or 9,950 miles.
We did a lot of walking to get around the city of Hanoi. Outside Hanoi, I drove a motorbike and rode a bus to get to different surrounding areas of Vietnam.
Leaving Hanoi for two days, our group headed out to a beautiful area called Ha Long Bay and took a boat around the bay.
After I get back to Hong Kong, I think my next trip will be to Macau, a portion of China similar to Hong Kong in that it is considered a special administrative region. Instead of the British influence that characterizes Hong Kong, this area was settled by the Portuguese.
