The weather was all over the place this week. The week started off cloudy and cold. In the middle of the week, it snowed and the snow stayed for a few days. Then it got warmer at the end of the week, melting all of the snow on the ground and in the surrounding mountains.
I saw a cat as I was walking to the library, and it even followed me halfway there. In Iceland, it is common to see people's cats roaming around cities on their own. Most cats that I've seen are wearing collars, indicating that they do have owners.
The coolest thing I have seen in nature while in Iceland is a frozen but flowing waterfall. The waterfall was freezing from the bottom up. It was so beautiful seeing a powerful waterfall being slowed down by the cold weather.
