I had the opportunity to interview Enzo Crescente, a 15-year-old student in Bahía Blanca, Argentina. He is currently in his 4th year of secondary school (the equivalent of high school in the states). Secondary school here lasts for six years. These are his words about what his life is like as a student, inside and outside of school!
"Well I am a typical Argentine kid, so for breakfast I usually eat a small pastry that we call galletitas, and I have a little café (coffee). Sometimes we also eat facturas, which are also little pastries but are more flaky and doughy than the galletas. Actually, we eat facturas all day like a snack, but it is not uncommon to eat facturas for breakfast. For lunch I eat pizza, pasta or some kind of cooked meat. For dinner I usually have chicken, an asado or an omlette with cheese."
"I live in a one story house with my family. We have three bedrooms and one bathroom. I share a bedroom with my 13-year-old brother. We also have two dogs that live inside the house with us. Unlike other houses in Bahía, our house is not connected to our neighbor's. It is separate.
