That's a lot of eggs! I even got to collect the eggs each day from the coop! The horses live in a barn, which is also a place for them to sleep and hang out at night. During the day, they walk around freely in a large fenced-in area.
The horses eat the grass, the fruit on the trees and hay to survive. They also drink water. Chickens are omnivores, which means they eat vegetables, fruits and grains, but no meat. They waddled around and ate grasses and weeds all day long. Both the horses and the chickens sleep under a roof, so they are protected from the cold weather or any rain.
As with any animal, a lack of food, water and shelter (a place to live) would be harmful to the horses and chickens. They must be fed every day and taken care of. While these animals are not in danger, it is always important to take care of our animals!
