This tradition is largely connected to the culture of togetherness in Spain. People value the time they spend with others, and they love to find a reason to celebrate because it brings people together. While I didn't have my family or friends with me from home, I still was able to come together with many friends from here to feel happy and loved! Even the dogs played a role in my celebration.
