We got to wander the floors and look at paintings from the Italian Renaissance (of course, I saw the Mona Lisa!) to statues from Ancient Greece. My favorite part was walking through the old halls of the preserved palace and the grand ballrooms and painted ceilings and golden tapestries. I’ll have to be back for sure!
I had an amazing weekend in Paris this week, and I am so lucky because in 2 weeks, I will get to return to Paris for a Fulbright conference, get to tour the Palace of Versailles, and meet all the other Fulbright students in France. It is crazy just how different two places can be separated by a short 3-hour train ride. I'm excited to see what will come next in my travels.
