Freedom, Peace and Culture

They place effort in remembering their history since many of their past customs were removed during colonialism. A few of the nation's tribes are still standing today. Some are tucked away in the deep of the rainforests and mountains. Others like to showcase their culture with music and by dressing in patterned clothes. They have a rich culture that they want to keep forever. My school even has a program that teaches students about the culture and history of the U.S. They look up to other countries that represent freedom, like ours. Guess who sang the U.S. national anthem at graduation? Yes! I did and they absolutely loved it.

Is this tradition connected to its environment? How?:

Ecuadorians take pride in their environment. You can see that on their shield is a picture of a native bird, the Chimborazo Mountain topped with snow and the Guayas River that flows from it. This shield uses nature to show the different aspects of strength and beauty in Ecuador. They are taught to keep the coast and mountain areas dear to their heart and to place value on the native animals of their country at all times.
