Interview with Marielos Angeles

All of the animals were strays that showed up one day at my porch for food and never left!

Have you traveled? Where have you traveled to?:

I’ve never left the country, but I’ve been to the southernmost point of Costa Rica which is known for having the most biodiversity in the world!

What do you do for work?:

For work I give massages, and I sell baked goods. Some of my specialties are rosquillas which are a type of Costa Rican cookie, tres leches, and arroz con leche. 

 

Is there anything else you would like to say to students in the United States?:

Only that you should all visit Costa Rica if you ever have the chance! Harry tells me you’re all from New York. He also tells me how different New York is from here. I think it would be a wonderful opportunity for you all to visit a place so different from where you grew up.
