Between daily travel as well as one excursion with my class through the mountains and historical cities, I traveled about 315 miles, this week.
I have traveled roughly 8,748 miles on my journey, so far. I first left the U.S.A. and went to Poland, where I traveled to different cities. Then I came to Georgia, where I traveled a lot to learn more about this country's history.
This week, I got around using the metro, buses, taxis, my feet and a van for our class trip!
I visited the ancient city of Uplistsikhe, which was carved into a mountainside about 3,000 years ago. It was so cool to learn about the history of this important place and to see how people used to live here, enjoying the view of the valley and river in the same way as I was on my visit. I also got to see the capital of ancient Georgia, Mtskheta.
