In Botswana, a bottle of water will cost three pula 95 thebe or about .29 cents in U.S. Dollars (one pula = 0.074 USD). You can find water in lots of different places. You can get them at a convenience store (they are called general dealers in Botswana) or just at the grocery store! If there is no grocery store, it is best to filter your water from home and fill a reusable water bottle.
How do you like BBQ? Because I love it! The best meal that I had this week was braai. Braai is a South African style of BBQ. This is where you cook meat over an open fire. It's super delicious. After the meat is cooked, you eat it with something called paletche - a very common dish in Botswana made with maize meal. It is very easy to make. You just boil water and add maize meal, then cook and stir, and it's done once you are happy with the texture.
This week, I have been listening to Hozier's newest album, Unreal Unearth. Hozier is one of my favorite artists. He is an Irish musician who writes a few different kinds of music like blues, soul music and indie rock. I find his music helps me relax at the end of a busy day!
This week, I am in training! While I am in training, I am learning about a lot of new topics. Like how to teach kids about health using games like soccer! I love training because I find learning about new things very exciting. But, the most fun and exciting part of the week is that my friends are attending the same training.
