Since this was a tour for relaxing, practically all the activities were fun to do. I would have to say, however, that the boat ride to go snorkel and watch the sunset was an absolute highlight. As someone who cannot swim, I’m always missing out on seeing marine life whenever our group goes to the beach. However, they had all the proper equipment to make me feel safe. Additionally, the boat ride was so fun! The speed against the waves and the wind hitting your face is so refreshing as you see the orange sun setting in the background!
I have been trying to practice my Spanish more and have started reading some of my favorite English books...in Spanish! I’m currently reading the Percy Jackson series in Spanish and, specifically, “Batalla del laberinto”. Can you figure out the title in English?!
Since we were traveling every day and our hotels were located in really rural areas, our connection to the internet was really limited. Cards are an absolute must on these types of trips ,as it really brings out the competitive edgein everyone! We played Spoons, Speed, Golf, Cowboy and Egyptian Rat Slap!
