I couldn’t tell you a number on how far I traveled this week, but I, for sure, traveled far! We were leaving for a new destination every day, starting at seven in the morning. From San Ramon to our end destination, which is Liberia, Guanacaste, it was about 159 kilometers or (100 miles)!
I can proudly say that I’ve traveled or been around most parts of the West Side and North Side of Costa Rica now including this trip! And that is quite far!
Our study abroad program rented a van for us and, therefore, the groups of students that were traveling together for the tour were always on the road. Once we got off the road, we continued traveling for miles— whether we were traipsing through the water of the caves, traveling on boats, riding on horseback or climbing uphill during our hikes!
