My Daily Life in Paris

Introduction:

Living in Paris can sometimes be exciting, but much like any college experience it can also be quite mundane. This field note will show you more about my daily life and how I live in Paris. Which is to say, sometimes boring. But sometimes life here is super magical!

What is your full name?:

Cameron Lee Roberts, but close friends call me Cam or Cammy!

Where do you live? What is your house like?:

I live in a modern-style dorm in Ivry-Sur-Seine, a neighborhood on the edge of Paris. I live right next to the 13th arrondissement and I am within walking distance of the city center. My dorm is super modern, with white walls and a very plain interior. In the attached photos, you'll be able to see how I decorate with photographs, postcards, and notes from friends. Some of my personal favorites are the post cards from Buenos Aires that my girlfriend Sammi sent me. She is studying-abroad in Argentina, and I love that I get to have a reminder of the cool city she explores as well as places I have visited on my wall. I also have a Paris-themed scarf hung up in my room. This is a gift I got from my Aunt Mary when I first started college at NYU. I remember telling Mary about my dream of studying abroad in Paris, and now that I am here, I have a reminder of her belief in me, every day.
