This week I traveled about seven miles around the city. I have settled into a weekly routine, which means that every week (unless something unique happens or I take a trip), I travel about the same amount.
8,974 miles. That includes my recent trip to Moscow and back, which is why the number jumped so high!
This week I almost exclusively walked everywhere. Even though the weather is changing, it is still usually the fastest and most convenient way for me to get to my destinations.
This week I went to the puppet theatre in Omsk! Several of the people studying Russian in the department where I study are from Japan, so when there was a Japanese puppet master coming to Omsk, we thought it would be a great idea to experience a part of Japanese culture.
I am officially going to travel to Ekaterinburg to celebrate Thanksgiving at the consulate!
