I'm sure you all are curious to learn more about students in Korea and what their everyday life looks like here! I asked some of my students the following questions and here are their responses. I told them they could write in Korean but most students wrote in simple English, making me a proud teacher! As you read the responses from the students, please think about the similarities and differences between your own life as a student!
Some of the foods mentioned by students were Kongnamul guk (콩나물국), fishcake (어묵), Bulgogi (불고기), chicken, tteokbokki, pizza, nuts, kimchi stew and bread. One student said they always eat rice and kimchi. Most students said they eat their mom’s food or the school food if they live in the dorms.
Almost everyone lives in an apartment here. Some students live in a detached house. Students described their home as good, warm, neat, clean, comfortable, small and with a loving family.
