So far this week, I went back and forth between my host family's house and my university, went to Oxigeno mall and went hiking at Braulio Carrilo National Park! When walking to school, I usually stop at some fruit stands, cafeterias or smoothie shops along the way!
As of the end of February, during my time in Costa Rica I hiked Irazú Volcano, went to the city of Cartago and visited the Basilica (the largest Catholic church in Costa Rica), went to a soccer match in San José, visited the open air markets in Heredia, took a trip to Playa Jacó (Jaco Beach) with some friends, visited the Butterfly and Hummingbird Gardens at La Paz (The Peace) in Alajuela, made coffee at a coffee plantation in Alajuela, toured the Museum of Jade in San José, listened to music at a concert at the university, shopped at Oxigeno mall, and went hiking at Braulio Carrillo National Park!
Because the weather is so nice, I really like to walk around when I can, But the main mode of transportation in Costa Rica is taking the bus.
