The farthest I traveled this week was to complete this trip to Santorini, Greece.
From Geneva, Switzerland, which is where I departed from, it is about 2,800 km to reach Santorini, Greece. I traveled by a plane and it took approximately two hours. However, the farthest I have traveled on this journey was to Morocco, as I previously talked about.
One of the days I took a guided tour, which means that a tour guide showed us around important places on the island, while also telling us the rich history and facts about those places. The guided tour took place on a company bus. The rest of the days, I relied on public transportation and taxis.
The most interesting place I visited was Oia. It was such a beautiful sight especially because of the white and blue houses and buildings. The village is perched up on a high mountain. Every corner I turned, I felt in awe, and was so happy to be there. It was definitely the highlight of my trip. There were also many small street shops that sold hand-made crafts.
