Taiwan School Days

What kinds of music do you listen to?:

A popular song among Nana and her friends is Justin Beiber's version of "Despacito". They also like to listen to Nikki Manaj.

What would you like to be when you grow up?:

When I asked Hannah and Francis, they weren't sure what to say! Their minds change every day. I'm sure they would love to know the answer to this question:  what do lots of students in the U.S. want to be when they grow up?

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?:

Hannah said she really wants to go to South Korea. Her brother went there, and he said it was really cool!

Nana wasn't sure where she would go, but her best friend Tina really wants to go to the U.S. and improve her English.

What do you know or think about the United States?:

Hannah and Francis, like many other kids in Taiwan, think the US is a huge country with a lot of people. They also know a few English songs and of course know who Stephen Curry is! Some other Taiwanese kids who play baseball also follow American Major League Baseball teams like the Yankees.

What questions do you have for kids in the United States?:

Hannah: What are your teachers like? And what is your favorite song?

Nana: What does your house look like?

Mark: Do you have a cell phone? Do you like video games?
