What main languages are spoken here?:

This is Paris, the capital of France so, naturally, most of the town speaks French. It's the only official language in France. However, the Quartier de la Gare itself is host to lots of other languages. It's one of the major hubs for transport in and out of the city of Paris.

Chinatown is located in this district. So, there many Chinese speakers in the area. There are also other East Asian languages spoken here. I've heard people chatting in Vietnamese, Laotian and Thai. There are also a number of Arabic speakers in the area. I've even heard some languages from Sub-Saharan Africa! 

What type of money is used here?:

France is part of the Eurozone, a group of 19 countries in Europe that use the Euro (€) as its currency. Today, 1€ is equal to around $1.20. Euro bills come in 5€, 10€, 20€, 50€, 100€, 200€, and 500€, but you'll rarely see the big values, except in banks. There are also 1€ and 2€ coins, as well as a variety of smaller coins.

How much does a bottle of water cost?:

First off, the tap water in Paris is completely potable. That means it's safe to drink right out of the kitchen tap. That said, bottled water is still rather popular.
