I see the same mountains almost everyday and I still marvel at them just as I did the first time I laid eyes on them. Always being around water wherever I was, whether that was Newport, Puerto Rico or Barcelona, the mountains have been a nice change of scenery. The coast is not too far from me, and I also still get stunned by it, but the mountains provoke another feeling. Luckily, the charm of Asturias is that it has the best of both worlds, including some of the most beautiful beaches and coastal towns I have seen. The only negative is that the water has been freezing since I have been here!
An animal that you can find in a lot of places here in Asturias is the cow. When I went on my first hike, there were many cows freely roaming around the trails and the park. They were extremely docile and added another layer of beauty to the region. Some people went up to pet them while I opted to take a couple of pictures, at the 0.5 zoom. Another animal I also see are Eurasian Magpies. The first time I saw them, I had no idea what they were, but I knew that they were cool looking. They are blue, white, green and black birds. Whenever I see one, I just sit and watch due to how beautiful they are.
