As a student here in Catalonia, I do not have a car. This means that I depend on public transportation and walking to go grocery shopping, get other things I need, explore Barcelona and go visit my friends. Amazingly enough, I have been able to do all of these things, here, thanks to the amazing transportation system!
The European Union is very focused on taking care of nature. Public transportation is a great way to do this because it reduces the use of cars. Cars produce carbon dioxide, which is a gas that hurts nature.
There are laws here that limit the use of cars that produce carbon dioxide. This motivates people to use public transportation, and in this way take care of nature.
