Ship life is very similar to the TV show, Suite Life on Deck. When we aren't in class, we can go to the gym, go to the game room with friends, watch movies, participate in ship activities and more. It's similar to any other college, except this one floats.

On the ship, we lived in what we called "cabins." Each cabin had 2-3 people living there. I lived in an outside triple, meaning myself and two others had a window where we could see outside. Our cabin was unbelievably tiny and we shared one bathroom. Despite that, it felt like home.
My ship family had people of all ages and backgrounds. We had lifelong learners, who were people 55 years and older, as well as children of faculty, ranging from 5 to 18 years old. We were always able to find similarities and things to talk about!
After a few days of being on the ship, we were able to start using our sea legs to get around.
