The ingredients taste as if they were freshly picked out of a garden and the food tastes like it just came out of the oven.
I am learning about Italian culture in class and food plays an important role in that culture. Italians grew up making their own olive oil, growing fruits in their backyards and cooking for their family. Hence, the aisles of canned and frozen items in the grocery stores are very small here. Many people like cooking with fresh ingredients and fruits and you can definitely taste the difference in your food!
