The 3 P's- Pizza, Pasta and Paninis!

Introduction:

Although similar to Italian food in the United States, everything in Italy tastes 10 times better. I would have never thought I would eat as much pizza, pasta and paninis as I am now and I have no regrets! I've grown to love margarita pizzas, pasta with fresh tomato sauce and prosciutto in all my sandwiches.

What food did I try?:

I tried different types of pizza and pasta, but the thing that was really different was the meat for paninis. Here in Italy, they have different meats like prosciutto (proh-shoo-toh) and salami! It is different because the prosciutto is dry and thinly sliced, while the salami has different flavors to it. What are some of your favorite things to add in your sandwich? Mine is now prosciutto and mozzarella cheese!

How did I feel when I tried it?:

I was nervous because the meats have a strong smell to them. However, I am glad to have tried them because they have now become my everyday lunch! When I am lazy and don't feel like making lunch for myself, I just go to my favorite sandwich shop and order a panini. There are sandwich shops on almost every corner!

How is the food prepared?:

Everything is freshly made! I was never a fan of tomatoes back at home. However, ever since I have been in Italy, cherry tomatoes are now my favorite snack!
