I was unfamiliar with the city, so it was sometimes hard to find my way around. It took some time for me to figure everything out, but I don't mind it at all now!
Florence is a historic city. The streets are small and the roads are not as smooth as they might be in the United States because people in the past did not have cars to drive in. This might be why a lot of Italians walk or take the bus everywhere. Also, everything is close together, so I can usually get a slice of pizza, a cup of coffee, a scoop of ice cream and go grocery shopping all on the same street!
