The best meal this week was beef and ale pie served with mixed vegetables and mash. The beef is cooked with ale (a type of beer). The pie part is similar to a puff pastry - a very light and fluffy roll on top of the beef. The mixed vegetables included carrots, cauliflower, and broccoli. Mash is similar to mash potatoes.
