Have you ever seen a rickshaw in real life? Neither had I before coming to India! Rickshaws are very common here, and you can find them almost everwhere in the city. I hope you will look at all my pictures and videos so that you can see for yourself what rickshaws are all about. I challenge you to count all the rickshaws you find!
in most big cities around the world, you will see people walking, biking, driving, taking the bus, or riding in a taxi cab to get around. They have all of those options in my city of Bengaluru too. There is one big difference though. In Bengaluru, you will usually find rickshaws instead of taxi cabs.

It is never hard for me to find a rickshaw in the city, and there is almost always one nearby. This is part of the reason why I love taking rickshaws!
Before getting in a rickshaw, it is important to tell the driver where you want to go. Sometimes the driver will not know the directions, and he will tell you to find another rickshaw driver who knows the way. No problem! It is better to find another driver instead of getting dropped off in the wrong place.
